Wardak Maidan Province Police says today Thursday (Jadi 11) that as a result of the military operations of Afghan forces in Jalriz district of this province, the Taliban suffered heavy casualties last night. Allah Dad Fadaei, Wardak Square Police Commander, says that nearly 16 Taliban were killed in this operation.
He also confirms that in this operation, two Humvee tanks of the Afghan forces were also targeted by mines.
Mr. Fadaei, however, says about the casualties of the security forces that investigations are underway in this field.
On the other hand, the Taliban, by publishing pictures of Humvee tanks of the Afghan forces, have claimed that 25 other soldiers, including two commanders of the Afghan forces, have also died in this conflict.
