According to Zamri, Vahidullah committed suicide in the basement of his house at 12:30 yesterday, after returning home empty-handed from the bank.As Zamri says, Vahidullah had a monthly salary of 7,000 Afghanis and he had not received a salary for four months: "Dashvan told me that Vahidullah had not received a salary for four months."Zamri describes the story of Vahidullah's suicide as follows:"On Sunday morning, he borrowed 100 Afghanis from Dashvan (a type of khabazi). He said to Dashvan, when I come back, I will lend you 100 afghanis and the rent of Nant.
The poor man went to the bank and his income did not come. On the part of Dege, his brother's wedding was in Paghman and his family insisted that he go to the wedding. Vahidullah said that I don't have a car rental, how can I take you to the wedding. Before that, he asked for a loan from several other people, but they did not give it to him. Finally, he gets tired and growls by himself."
According to Zamri, Vahidullah is survived by two sons and three young daughters: "His eldest daughter is 12 years old. My youngest child is two and a half years old.
Ziauddin, the district attorney of Hazrat Yusuf Mosque, also confirmed Wahidullah's suicide due to poverty and hardship while talking to My Voice Weekly.
Kabul police also confirms that the body of a man was taken to forensic medicine from the fifth district of Kabul.
Firdous Faramarz, the spokesperson of the Kabul Police Command, told the My Voice Weekly that he cannot confirm whether this man committed suicide or was murdered: "After the forensic examination, it will be determined whether he committed suicide or not."
After that, if it was suicide, we will look for its motive."In order to clarify whether Wahidullah was an employee of the National Statistics and Information Authority.
